ARE ALL OF YOUR CHARCUTERIE BOARDS AND SERVING BOARDS FOOD SAFE?
Yes! Any product sold that is intended for food is treated or seal with food grade products.
All of the hardwood charcuterie boards and are treated with TerraNova NaturOIL®. This is a blend of pure oils with no dyes, perfumes or additives. It is nut free, 100% Kosher and safe for food contact.
Pine serving boards and trays are sealed with WATCO® Butcher Block Oil and Finish. This provides a coating on the surface of the wood that is not only food safe formulated, but it also protects against stains. So go ahead and serve whatever you'd like on your board!

I ORDERED A CHARCUTERIE BOARD. IS THIS OKAY TO CHOP ON?
Yes definitely! All of the charcuterie boards are crafted with hardwoods and made to withstand everyday chopping and food prep. Some of the hardwoods available are maple, walnut, cherry, olivewood etc...

WHAT ABOUT MY PINE SERVING BOARD? CAN I CHOP ON THAT?
Unfortunately, unlike the charcuterie boards, it is best that you DO NOT use your pine serving boards or trays as an everyday cutting board. Pine is a softwood and therefore cannot withstand everyday chopping. Heavy chopping would also pose the risk of eventually cutting away at the food safe sealer. Cheese knives are, however, okay to use on the pine serving boards and trays.

HOW WILL I KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE AND MAINTAIN THE MY CHARCUTERIE BOARD THAT I ORDERED?
Have no fear! Each board is package with care instructions specific to your board and the type of wood you have ordered, so there will be no confusion.

I WANT TO ORDER A SPECIFIC LIVE EDGE CHARCUTERIE BOARD, BUT YOUR WEBSITE SAYS YOU ARE TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK.
Unfortunately, certain stock does run out from time to time. If there is a specific piece of wood or a certain style of board you are looking for, just head over to the CONTACT tab and send a message with what you are looking for.

WILL MY ORDER LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURES I SEE ON THE WEBSITE?
Your order will look very similar to what you see on the website but keep in mind everything is handmade, so there will be some slight differences.

No problem at all! Your order can be shipped to you via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Prices vary depending on the size and weight of your order, but feel free to ask for an estimate during the checkout process.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
Canada Post Expedited shipping can take anywhere between 2-7 days depending on your location. Once your order is shipped you will be provided with a tracking number. If you need a priority order sent to you that can be arranged at an additional cost.

IF I LIVE IN TORONTO CAN I PICKUP MY ORDER TO SAVE ON SHIPPING COSTS?
Yes of course! Completed orders can be picked up in the Riverdale / Leslieville area of Toronto. Pickup times can be arranged during the checkout process.

HOW DO YOU INSCRIBED WORDS AND DATES ON THE CHARCUTERIE BOARDS?
All the letters, numbers and symbols are stamped by hand one at a time with a burning tool. Every board is truly handmade from start to finish making every order unique and undeniably one of a kind though!

DOES THIS MEAN I CAN GET ANY PHRASE INSCRIBED ONTO MY CHARCUTERIE BOARD?!
Absolutely! The prices listed in the product section include a custom inscription up to 18 characters. Due to the time consuming nature of the individually hand stamped letters, extra characters are available at an additional cost.

I'D LIKE TO GET A MAP MADE OF THE LAKE THAT MY COTTAGE IS ON. WOULD THAT BE POSSIBLE?
Yes of course! Many of the maps are custom orders. As long as an outline of the specific area can be provided or found online, a custom lake/map is no problem!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO BE FINISHED?
Please ask about lead time in the checkout process! Generally speaking, once an order is paid for it can take anywhere between 4-14 days to finish. However, larger orders and orders placed during peak seasons (wedding season, holiday season etc), it can take a little bit longer.
